How long does a treatment session last?
A full body massage takes roughly 60 minutes, although the length of the massage depends upon what you are looking for. A "back" massage can be accomplished in roughly 45 minutes, and,
if you are looking for either an upper back or lower back massage only, that can take roughly 30 minutes. Certain specific techniques, such a "high relaxation therapy" require a minimum of 60 minutes to achieve maximum relaxation.

Will it be uncomfortable?
Massage therapy should be a pleasant and soothing experience. It is important that you communicate with your therapist if you feel any discomfort so that he or she can ease the pressure.

Will there be any aftereffects?
Right after treatment you may feel very sleepy. Drinking a glass of water is a good idea. Your muscle may feel a little sore for a short time after the massage, similar to that after exercise, but this will quickly pass.

Will the therapist use creams or oils?
Therapist usually work with a light oil or cream so that their hands glide over the skin. Aromatic essential oils may be added, enhancing the massage experience.
